MJ Geldart Designer Jeweller
Michael has over thirty years experience in the jewellery industry, starting as a bench trainee in December 1979 with Wendts Jewellers in Rundle Mall. In a workshop with over one hundred years of history, he was taught to use the original mouth-blown bench torch.
After completing a four year apprenticeship, Michael then worked for Barry Edwards, a highly respected jeweller, for two years. Following this, he worked in several different workshops before contracting to a retail jeweller where he repaired and restored jewellery as well as creating brand new and original pieces for their customers.
In 2007 Michael opened his own jewellery store which he runs with his wife Angela. It has grown quickly into a popular and very busy store and includes a large range of ready to wear jewellery. With a workshop on premises Michael is able to repair, restore and create the jewellery we all love to wear.
